Tudegesheva and Fischnaller – Moscow Lords of the Boards

5th of March Russian Ekaterina Tudegesheva and Italian Roland Fischnaller have won the Stage of the 2011 LG Snowboard FIS World Cup in parallel slalom. It was the first time the boarders fought on the natural slope. Five years in a row they took start on the artificial manifold, located close to the main State University building. Movement to the natural snow was very pleasant to the sportsmen. The view from the start point impressed them all greatly.

Moscow Essent ISU World Cup Speed Skating

The World Cup 6th stage took part on 28-30 January in Moscow for sprinters, allround skaters and Team Pursuit. Some of the teams travelled on Monday from Holland to Moscow and were confronted with the tragedy at the airport, but all teams arrived safely.

Muscovites win the Cup of Russia

Ekaterina Bobrova/Dmitri Soloviev danced to the gold medal ahead of their relatives and friends in Megasport complex, Moscow. The second win to Russians came with Yuko Kavaguti/Alexander Smirnov, who was the best in the Pairs event of the Cup. In Singles the victory came to Tomas Verner (men) and Miki Ando (woman). These are the results of the fifth stage of ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating.

Moscow meets RG World Championships

Before the eyes of Russia’s First Lady Svetlana Medvedeva, a beautiful and spectacular ceremony seasoned with the participation of numerous former Olympic and World Champions and medallists opened the anniversary edition of the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships at Moscow’s Olympiyski Indoor Arena.

From 4th till 6th June 2010 the 49th International Grand Moscow Regatta will pass at the Olympic canal "Krylatskoye". about 400 sportsmen from 11 countries will take part in this competition.

The regatta will pass in the context of celebrating 150th anniversary of Russian rowing and the International sports Forum “Russia – sports state”.

Singapore sensation and Chinese win

Liebherr World Team Championships in Moscow finished on Sunday 30th May 2010. The finals brought one sensation and one logical end. The last day of Championships would be remembered by the huge crowd of Chinese supporters, who occupied Olimpijsky Sports Complex.

"Olympiskiy" stage is waiting for the artistic gymnasts

This weekend the sport centre "Olympiskiy" will hold a World Cup competition in artistic gymnastics. More than 110 sportsmen from 30 countries of the world will take part in this tournament.

Results of the World Team Table Tennis Championships draw

Liebherr World Team Championships to be held in Moscow from Sunday 23rd to Sunday 30th May 2010. The draw for the top three divisions took place at the Petrovsky Palace in Moscow on Thursday 29th April. The draw ceremony was held by the president and the vice-president of Russian table tennis federation Andrey Konokotin and Konstantin Pashkov, the Chief executive Judit Farago, the first deputy of the Moscomsport's head Valery Tsyganov and the head of Moscow sports-entertainment Department Alexander Polinskiy.

Moscow meets World Team Table Tennis Championships - 2010

Built as the final stop for the night for members of the Russian royal family on their journey from Moscow to St Petersburg, the Putevoj (Petrovsky) Palace will be the architecturally stunning venue for the Official Draw for the Liebherr World Team Championships to be staged in Moscow from Sunday 23rd to Sunday 30th May 2010.
